Mori Hamada is pleased to announce that our San Francisco Bay Area office has commenced operations at locations in San Francisco and San Mateo.

The San Francisco Bay Area office is led by partners Mikito Ishida, who specializes in transactions related to startups, VC/PE funds, and cross-border M&A, and Stephen Overton, who has nearly 30 years of experience focusing on cross-border mandates, particularly in M&A. Associate lawyers will also be stationed at this office.

The San Francisco Bay Area office will work in conjunction with our New York office to further strengthen our collaboration with local law firms and clients in the Americas. Furthermore, we will continue to build a robust practice to meet diverse legal needs spanning both the Americas and Asia, in coordination with our Tokyo office and other Japan-based locations, as well as our offices in Beijing, Shanghai, Singapore, Bangkok, Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Jakarta, Yangon and Manila.
